Steps that needs to be followed to strengthen the immune system -

  • Include plenty of coloured and seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet especially those rich in Vitamin C like berries, kiwi, oranges, papaya, mangoes, vegetables from cruciferous family like broccoli, cauliflower.
  • Spices - ginger, garlic, turmeric and black pepper in everyday cooking.
  • Good quality sleep to give our body enough time to repair and recover.
  • Yoga, pranayama and meditation to improve lung function, reduce mental stress and improve body’s immunity. A simple breathing exercise can go a long way in improving one's immunity.
