In particular, the goals of NPWJ are to contribute to the development and reform of existing international institutions, to support the mandate of the ad hoc Tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia, to ensure that human rights are enforced in member States of the United Nations and to campaign for the establishment and effectiveness of an International Criminal Court.
